Slovenia's region of Primorsko-Notranjsko has been placed on Germany's Covid-19 red list.
Those entering Germany who spent time in the region in the past two weeks will now have to be quarantined.
The region was put on the list of high-risk areas along with parts of ten other European countries. Among them are Austria, Croatia and Hungary.
The red list of regions is determined by the federal ministries of health, interior and foreign affairs.
