The cities of Nova Gorica, Ptuj, Ljubljana and Piran made it into the second round in the race for the title of the European Capital of Culture 2025.
Two cities, Kranj and Lendava, were eliminated today. The final pick is to be announced in December.
This will be the second time that Slovenia gets the title. The first was in 2012, when Maribor was the European Capital of Culture.
