President Borut Pahor hosted a meeting of the heads of Slovenia's parliamentary parties.
Talks focused on improving cross-partisan cooperation, especially on topics such as the Covid-19 epidemic and carrying out Slovenia's EU presidency in the second half of the year.
The party leaders agreed to meet again in March to discuss healthcare needs and Covid exit strategies. Experts will also be invited to the meeting. Pahor said the future decisions were far too important to be made in a poisonous political atmosphere. Seven of the nine parliamentary parties took part in today's meeting. The leaders of the opposition Marjan Šarec List and the Left decided not to show up.
