PM Janez Janša was answering questions in parliament on whether the government was planning new measures related to the Covid-19 epidemic in Slovenia, the STA reports.

He said that new variants of coronavirus pose a dilemma whether to follow the planned coloured exit strategy or impose stricter lockdown for a short period of time.

According to Janša, experts were now checking the possibility whether to partly reopen schools for secondary school students even if the country is still in the orange phase of the epidemic.

The government will discuss the possible scenarios later this week.
