Prime Minister Marjan Šarec met with the new President of the Pensioner's party, Aleksandra Pivec today. On Saturday the party elected her as its new leader. Šarec agreed with Pivec to constructively and proactively cooperate in the government. After the meeting, Pivec said that after taking over the leadership of the Penionser’s party, she remains a stable partner in the government coalition and even counts on further strengthening this cooperation. SB PIVEC: After his defeat the former head of the Pensioner’s party Karl Erjavec announced that he would step down as defence minister and only remain a member of the party. The Party now has to put forward a candidate to replace Erjavec as minister.
