Žužemberk Castle to host 21st Mediaeval Days
The Žužemberk Castle will host today the 21st Mediaeval Days featuring re-enactments of medieval traditions by a dozen groups from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and Slovakia. Medieval Day is part of Žužemberk Days, the largest tourist and cultural festival in the south-eastern region of Suha Krajina. The organizers of the event expect around 200 participants re-enacting medieval traditions and up to 3,000 visitors. The festival will also feature medieval and Renaissance music and dances, including the dances of Žužemberk's Seisenbergensis Tumultus order of chivalry and Gašper Lambergar's order from Bled.T. L.
