The Fête de la Musique – or the Make Music day is taking place in more than 700 towns in the world. It was established in 1982 in Paris. Nine cities and towns in Slovenia are participating with a total of more than 500 musicians at 50 venues. Among others, organisers were raising funds for musicians who are in distress due to the coronavirus situation. They helped 23 musicians who will now perform during the Music day. The event is in Slovenia organised since 2011. Musicians are welcomed on all public spaces. The aim is to give a little sparkle to each by-passer and to raise awareness on the tradition of music in each country.
