With over 1.200 performed tests, 43 new infections were confirmed in Slovenia yesterday. The majority of new infections, ten, were again recorded in the municipality of Ljubljana. One person meanwhile died yesterday, which put the national Covid-19 death toll at 131.
Slovenian health authorities expect infections to further rise in the coming weeks as many holidaymakers are returning from Croatia.

The fourth day in a row now Croatia has reported record numbers

of new infections with the coronavirus. In the last 24 hours they have confirmed 306 new cases, most of them in the region of Split and Dubrovnik. Croatia now has somewhat over 2.000 active cases.
Austria reports 300 new cases in the last 24 hours, among them 141 in Vienna. The Austrian capital in general reports the highest numbers of infections.
According to reports Austria carried out almost 45.000 border checks on Friday, together with medical personnel and somewhat over 1.000 people were ordered to a quarantine at home.
