Novo Mesto celebrates the 50th anniversary of the production of the Renault 4 car model, also known as the Quatrelle or Katrca. The car was produced in Novo Mesto between 1973 and 1992 by former car maker IMV, and later also by its successor Revoz. More than 570,000 units of the best-selling model of Renault ever were produced in Novo Mesto. An exhibition marking the anniversary of its first production in Slovenia opens this evening in Novo Mesto. The exhibition was set up by the Dolenjska Museum in cooperation with the Novo Mesto municipality and Revoz, which currently manufactures the Renault Clio 5 model and the Renault Twingo.
