The illegal rave party in France which began on New Year’s Eve has been shut down by police. More than 1,200 fines were issued. A number of the party-goers were from Spain and the UK. The party was planned to take place till Tuesday.
Another rave party took place around 30 kilometres outside of Barcelona. 1000 participants were counted there. Police was informed by locals about the event. The organisers face fines of up to EUR 600,000. The fines according to Spanish law for participants at such events starts at EUR 3,000.
