The first half of a key motorway project in the Podravje region has officially been opened today.
A 7,3 km section between Draženci near Ptuj and the Gruškovje-Macelj crossing with Croatia was opened today by PM Miro Cerar and other high officials. Works on the remaining 6-km section between Podlehnik and Gruškovje are to be completed by September 2018.
When the A4 is fully completed it will connect Maribor and Croatia with a two driving lanes and one emergency lane.
