Renovation of the busy Šmigel bridge will start in Novo mesto today. The road's surface is constantly wrinkling, which requires repairs every few years. The municipality will pay approximately 170.000 € for the renovation, which will run until the 20th of August. The bridge will be closed but detours have already been set up.
