Celje have won the national premiere football league.
The team defeated Olimpija from Ljubljana 1:0 yesterday.
Celje have been the favourite practically since the start, having dominated the standings. A draw today would have been enough to clinch the championship title.
Olimpija will now play for second place Maribor. Maribor is three points behind.
All three teams will play in European competitions in the coming season.
