The Nobel prizes for physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, and economy will be traditionally presented today in Stockholm. The Nobel prize for peace will go to the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons and will be exceptionally presented in Oslo. The Nobel prize for physics will go to US scientists Rainer Weiss, Barry Barish and Kip Thorne, and in Chemistry the prize will be shared between the Swiss Jacques Dubochet, American Joachim Frank, and Britain Richard Henderson. Writer Kazuo Ishiguro from the UK won the Nobel prize for literature and in the field of economics, the prize goes to the American scientist Richard H. Thaler. The Nobel prizes are being presented since 1901 in the memory of Swedish scientist and the inventor of dynamite Alfred Nobel.
