Placido Domingo the world-renowned Spanish opera singer, held a concert last night in Ljubljana, on the eve of his 77^th birthday. He filled the sports hall Stožice with mostly Italian opera arias and Spanish zarzuelas, but he ended his concert with Avsenik’s legendary Slovenia. Joining him on stage were also 3 sopranos one of whom was the Slovenian soprano Sabina Cvilak. Domingo said that he is slowly moving to the 4000^th concert mark in his 50-year career.
