The Rafut park will now be used as a public space and one of the venues of the European Capital of Culture, hosted by Nova Gorica and Italy's Gorizia in 2025.
A few days ago, Slovenia’s only exotic park, which used to be private, opened to the public. The renovated Rafut Park on a hill overlooking the town of Nova Gorica is considered a natural value of the state and a cultural monument of local importance.
