Pro-life activists held a rally in the capital Ljubljana yesterday. Dubbed »Equality begins before birth«, participants advocated the rights of yet unborn children, opposing abortion and gay adoptions. One of the organizers, Urša Cankar Soares, said life is a human right.
Several hundred people gathered at the rally.
Abortion is allowed in Slovenia and is free of charge.
