Czech investment group PPF has completed its acquisition of the Central European Media Enterprises fund. The fund owns Slovenia's leading television group Pro Plus, which means the Czech group now owns Slovenia's TV channels, POP TV and Kanal A, along with Brio and Kino, pay-per-view service Voyo, as well as 24ur.com, one of the leading news portals in the country. The takeover was approved by the EU Commission. Apart from Slovenia, the fund also owns television channels in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria.
