The country has stopped free mass testing for coronavirus effective today.

Only staff working in sectors where testing is mandatory for the unvaccinated will still have access to free tests. This goes for the educational, healthcare and social care systems, and workers in retail and event organisation, the STA reports.

In these sectors, staff must be either vaccinated, have proof of recovery, or tested once a week, a rule known as PCT.
