Slovenian skier Ilka Štuhec finished second in the women's downhill as part of the Alpine Ski World Cup in St. Moritz, Switzerland, today. She finished 0.43 seconds behind Italy’s Sofia Goggia, and ahead of the third-placed Kira Weidle of Germany. This is the first World Cup podium finish for Ilka Štuhec after 2019 and a number of injuries. The two-time world downhill champion is now third in this year’s overall downhill standings.
