The government has adopted a sixth stimulus coronacrisis package. The aim of the package, worth around 1 billion euros, is to alleviate the impact of the pandemic on businesses and residents. Furlough scheme subsidies are to be extended, and measures will also allow the postponement of tax payments, help business liquidity, and the funding of fixed expenses to both private and legal entities whose businesses were forced to shut down or have suffered significantly. The package, yet to be confirmed by parliament, also envisages higher fines for illegal public gatherings, ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 euros.
