The head of the strike committee Helena Milinković says the main strike demand remains the withdrawal of all of the 38 pre-layoff notices that were issued, that they see as a form of intimidation targeting employees and discouraging strikers.

The strike committee said that non-transparent staffing has been intensifying as have arbitrary and unprofessional interferences in the programme and content.

RTV Slovenija director general Andrej Grah Whatmough has rejected the accusations, maintaining there is no reason for him to resign.

A news conference is scheduled for 11:55am and a rally for 5pm in front of RTV headquarters in Ljubljana.
