Justice Minister Lilijana Kozlovič has resigned from office. The reason is the procedure of appointing Slovenia's two European delegated prosecutors. A letter of resignation has been sent to PM Janša, after a government decision to annul the appointment procedure and publish a new call for applications. Minister Kozlovič said her ministry conducted the procedure in line with the law and EU decrees, and that there was no need to annul the process. PM Janša has already called on the coalition SMC party to appoint a new minister.
