Four centre-left opposition parties have filed a new motion to impeach Prime Minister Janez Janša. The List of Marjan Šarec, the SD Social Democrats, the Left, and the Party of Alenka Bratušek, accuse the PM of violating the country's constitution and laws. One of the opposition leaders, Marjan Šarec, sees Janša's failure to secure Slovenia's full share of Covid-19 vaccines as a violation of the people's right to healthcare. PM Janša is also accused of attempting to destroy the STA Slovenian Press Agency and interfering in the process of naming prosecutors. Janša called the motion pathetic and a bid to destabilise the country.
