The award for best film at the 25th Festival of Slovenian Film in Portorož went to Orchestra, a film directed by Matevž Luzar. The film follows members of a Slovenian wind orchestra, as they travel to a brass band music festival in Austria. Luzar said the idea for the film was born in his hometown in Zagorje. The film also won the awards for best screenplay and best photography.
Meanwhlie Sara Kern's debut feature Moja Vesna won the awards for best director and best female actress, which went to Loti Kovačič. The award for best male actor went to Petja Labović, for his role in Jezdeci (Riders).
