The National Assembly has endorsed the government budgets for the next two years. Next year's budget will peak at an all-time high of just over EUR 16.5 billion. With substantial funds set aside to deal with the energy crisis, Slovenia's Finance Minister also listed investments in healthcare, research and development. Next year's deficit is expected to reach 5.3% of GDP, and then fall below 3% in 2024.
