Prosecutors have dismissed a criminal complaint against the president and two ministers for not wearing masks in public during a visit to the border.
A complaint was filed against the president, the interior minister and the defense minister after they were photographed close to each other and without any protective gear during a visit to the Kolpa River.
The officials said the road was too narrow to allow them to keep a safe distance. The complaint against them was filed after the interior minister suggested that protestors could be identified in pictures and punished for not following safety measures.
The state prosecutors threw out the complaint, saying that no danger to the public had been committed.
