The European Commission released its summer forecast today, and projected Slovenia’s GDP to shrink by 0.2% this year and 0.1% next year.

It nevertheless is forecasting robust growth for the country. GDP is expected to grow by 4.4% this year and 3.5% in 2019.

Export growth is slightly slower because of weaker foreign demand

The EU today said it expected lower growth in the eurozone – partially because of trade disputes with the United States.
