Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The main event in Slovenia will be held this evening at the Mini Theatre in Ljubljana. It's organized by the Jewish communities in Slovenia and the Polish Embassy.
Addressing the media on Holocaust Remembrance Day, Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar's message was »never again«.
Meanwhile in Maribor a documentary exhibition has been set up by the Maribor WWII International Research Centre, the Moscow Victory Museum and the Maribor Synagogue.
Officials also laid wreaths at the Jewish cemetery in the village of Dolga Vas in north-eastern Slovenia.
The day marks the liberation of the Nazi concentration camps and the end of the Holocaust.
