Slovenia’s top football league is the youngest league in Europe and the world. According to the CIES Football Observatory, the average age of players in Slovenia’s first football league is 24,1 years of age. The youngest club in Slovenia is NK Aluminij from Kidričevo, with an average age of 22,2 years.

Trailing Slovenia in players’ age are the football leagues of the Netherlands and Belarus. The list was compiled by the Football Observatory, which studied the team demographics in the 48 strongest leagues in the world.
