Slovenia's GDP decreased by 2,3% in the first quarter of 2020. The negative figures come after a slowdown in domestic consumption and external demand at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. The first three months reported a big fall especially in domestic and household expenditure. A clearer picture on the pandemic's impact on Slovenia's GDP is expected after the second quarter.
