Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar expressed strong support for Bosnia's EU path in Sarajevo today. She kicked off a two-day official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina yesterday.
President Pirc Musar held talks with the country's leadership yesterday and today, when she also paid a visit to Slovenian troops serving in Sarajevo. Pirc Musar also confirmed the good bilateral relations between the two countries, noting Bosnia as an important economic partner of Slovenia and the second-largest recipient of Slovenian development aid.
Apart from her official meetings, Pirc Musar also took part in today's ceremony naming an Olympic giant slalom course at the Bjelašnica ski resort after Slovenian skier Jure Franko, who won the only Yugoslav Olympic medal at the Sarajevo Olympic Games 40 years ago.
