The Tartini Festival of classical music kicks off in Piran today.
The festival, dedicated to the Piran-born Italian composer and violinist Giuseppe Tartini, will get under way at the St. George Parish church tonight, with a performance by the Il Terzo Suono ensemble.
The festival will also see concerts in Koper, and the closing performance this year will be held in Italy's Padua on the 12th of September.
