The routes did not go through neighbouring Austria due to border checks.

Laban Cheruiyot of Kenya won the men's race in just over 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Jasmina Ilijaš of Croatia was victorious in the women's race in 3 hours and 32 seconds.

The half-marathon titles went to two Kenyan runners - Kennedy Rono Kipkemoi and Rebecca Chepkemoi.

There are also a number of other shorter events every year, including a Children's Run and a 10k Nordic Walking race.
