The last two remaining glaciers in Slovenia continue to shrink. The latest measurements show that the glaciers below the Triglav and Skuta mountains have shrunk and thinned significantly this year due to a lack of snow and unfavorable temperatures. Both glaciers cover an area or around 1 hectare. Researchers say there is a threat they may disappear in the near future, adding that this year's melting season from May to October will be the warmest on record.
