Up to 30 cm of snow is tonight forecast to fall in Slovenia where the altitude exceeds 500 m above sea level. Over half a meter of wet snow is meanwhile forecast to fall in the Alps, which the Slovenian Environment Agency ARSO warns might trigger some avalanches.

In some places, the snowfall is forecast to continue into Wednesday.
