The 16th Zagreb Film Festival opened today. Around 100 films will compete for the top prizes.

Two Slovenian directors are on the list of competitors - Martin Turk with "Dober dan za delo" and Peter Bratuša, for his film "Gajin Svet".

The festival will run until next Sunday, with films being shown from all corners of the globe, including such exotic locations as Iceland, Peru and Thailand.
