The environmentaly friendly vehicle will offer a free ride through the old town center for up to 5 people at a time between 9AM and 5PM. It is meant to provide service to the elderly, physically disabled and tourists. Those that want to take a ride in it, can call a designated number or stop the vehicle as it's passing by.

Ptuj is the second town in Slovenia to introduce such a means of transport. A similar vehicle, titled Kavalir is already in use in Ljubljana.
