Norway's Johannes Thingnes Boe won this afternoon's 10 km sprint race at the biathlon World Cup event in Pokljuka.

Thingnes Boe won in a time of just under 24 minutes, 16 seconds ahead of France's Antonin Guigonnat.

Slovenia's biathletes didn't fare so well. Jakov Fak came home in 39th place, 1 minute and 40 seconds behind the winner.

The next event in Pokljuka is the women's 7.5 km sprint tomorrow afternoon at 2.15 p.m.
