Last Friday, women's rights activists protested outside a Paris concert hall where this year's Cesar awards ceremony took place. They were denouncing the 12 nominations for Polish-French director Roman Polanski's film An Officer and a Spy, which won best director, winning a total of three awards. Several actresses walked out of the awards ceremony.
