Slovenia's 13th government since independence, the first minority cabinet to date, was proposed by Marjan Šarec, the head of the List of Marjan Šarec, which finished second in the last elections three months ago. The 40-year-old is Slovenia's youngest prime minister to date.

Soon after it was appointed last night, the government convened its first session and among other, appointed five deputy prime ministers and several state secretaries.
