30 people were trapped today in the gondola lift at the Slovenian ski resort Kanin. The lift suddently stopped due to an unknown error.

30 people that were using the cable car at the moment were stuck in the cabins. Most of them were rescued by rescue workers, while some had to wait for the system to be rebooted and were then let down at an intermediate station.

Marijan Skornišek, the director of the Kanin ski resort, said that the error was not mechanical, but that the lift would remain out of service until they figured out what had caused the malfunction.
