A month-long campaign called I've Got My Bag, aimed at reducing the use of lightweight plastic bags, has been launched in Slovenia. the governement-sponsored campaign will raise awareness about the harmful effects of the excessive use of plastic bags on the environment.
The campaign is being organised by the Environment Ministry in cooperation with retailers, the Education Ministry, trade associations and NGOs. The campaign will also be presented across Slovenian primary schools throughout the year.
