The country-wide curfew is imposed from 10pm to 5am from today.
The government decided to shorten it ahead of the coming Daylight Saving Time change.
Entering into force today are also inter-regional travel restrictions in red-coded regions.
According to the head of the government Covid-19 advisory group, Mateja Logar, they are considering tightening restrictions, but how far they would go, is still uncertain. More will follow on Sunday.
Bars and restaurants in regions with best epidemiological status are still allowed to serve customers outdoors, but negative rapid test result is no longer valid to enter Slovenia.
