The two-day "Africa Day" conference at Brdo Pri Kranju wrapped up today. The focus of this year’s conference was climate security. The event, hosted by Slovenia's Foreign Ministry, was attended by numerous officials from Africa, including the foreign ministers of Cape Verde, Malawi, Rwanda, and the Comoros.
Today Slovenia's ministers for the economy and natural resources called for nature-based solutions to address the challenges of sustainable development, biodiversity, and climate change.

At the two-day event Slovenia also promoted its bid for a non-permanent seat at the UN Security Council for the 2024-2025 period.
