Andreja Katič official took over the Justice Ministry today. At today’s handover ceremony with her predecessor Dominika Švarc Pipian, new minister Katič promised a lot of hard work.
She faces pressure from judges and prosecutors for salary increases, and is also expected to look into the handling of the court building purchase case, which swept away her predecessor.
Katič already served as Justice Minister in Marjan Šarec’s government, between September 2018 and March 2020.
