A strong 6.3-magnitude earthquake hit Croatia's capital Zagreb, around midday.
It was the second earthquake to hit the country in two days, followed by several minor aftershocks.
The epicentre was again in Petrinja and Sisak, two towns around 50km southeast from Zagreb, and 5-10km underground.
According to the town mayor, at least six people have died, including a 12-year old girl, and at least twenty people have been taken to hospital. Reports say, that at least half of the town's infrastructure has been ruined.
The earthquake could again be felt in many parts of Slovenia and other neighbouring countries. Slovenia's Krško Nuclear Power Station was temporarily shut down as a precautionary measure.
