Future Slovenian Olympic, Paralympic, Deaflympic and Chess Olympiad medal winners can now look forward to higher bonuses.
Slovenia has increased the prize money for winning a podium spot in all Olympic competitions. The changes also apply to this year's olympic medalists. Athletes winning the gold are entitled to EUR 55,000. Winning the silver is worth EUR 45,000, while the bronze is worth EUR 38,000. When it comes to team sports, the gold-winning team will receive EUR 300,000 in total. Silver teams will receive EUR 240,000 and bronze teams will get EUR 210,000. Entitled to the higher bonuses are also winning coaches.
