Slovenia has passed changes to the road tolling act. It will allow for electronic tolling of cars starting in December 2021.
Some MPs had concerns about privacy. The annual toll stickers currently cost 110 euros for a year or 30 per month.
The Infrastructure Ministry said that despite being digitized, the price of tolls stickers would not fall, since other costs would rise.
