Representatives of the economy and the government yesterday discussed ensuring a smooth work process during rising numbers of infections with the new coronavirus. They agreed that everything should be done following the instructions of the health profession to ensure the functioning of the economy. After the consultations, Economy Minister Zdravko Počivalšek said that the participants of the meeting discussed how to ensure the working processes in companies with rising infections, high energy prices, and investments that would keep the economy in good shape. The President of the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia, Branko Meh, said the Slovenian economy cannot afford another lockdown at the moment, no matter how severe the health crisis.
Meh also said SB: In case of a large number of people in quarantine, the government must be aware that it will have to find funds to help the economy survive.
